In the mood?

Some people may be wondering what exactly is a mood board - it is a visual collection of imageries that aim to tell a story, and convey the design direction. It would showcase how materials, colours, furniture, general ambiance of a space would look and feel like. Is it cohesive, is it dramatic, or is it rather soothing and calming. A mood board also helps the client and designer establish a good understanding and be on the same page, since everyone translates words differently in their minds, it is always good to have a set of images to refer to in those early meetings.
